Status of our York University Class Action Lawsuit, Turner v. York University, August 11, 2010

The offices of Juroviesky LLP would like to take this opportunity to update all interested parties as to the status of our York University Class Action, Turner v. York University.
The Motion for Certification hearing commenced as scheduled on July 21st,, and all submissions concluded on July 22nd. Counsel for both sides made oral submissions to the court in support of their respective positions and answered any questions the court had. The motion was opened to the public. The judge hearing the case, The Honourable Maurice Cullity of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, will release his decision within 90 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
At the time we receive a written decision by the court, we will post it on our website by way of an update to all interested parties, as well as inform class members via email.
Note that we are continuing to accept registrations, sign-ups, and enquiries, as the matter is still ongoing. Please sign up if you have not done so already, and send us any and all questions you may have.
